If so, join us for an unforgettable opportunity to explore the field of transportation at our 2023 PacTrans-WSDOT Summer High School Transportation Camps!
Hosted at WSU in Pullman from July 24th to 29th and at the UW in Seattle from August 13th to 18th, our camps offer a transformative learning experience that provides you with a glimpse into a wide range of topics in transportation such as urban planning, traffic safety, supply chain logistics, and the future of connected and autonomous vehicles. Whether you’re interested in pursuing a career in transportation or simply curious about this rapidly evolving industry, our camp will guarantee you a safe and fun time to learn!

Hosted jointly by the Washington Department of Transportation (WSDOT), University of Washington (UW), and Washington State University (WSU), the summer camp will give highly motivated students an opportunity to explore the wonderful world of transportation through FUN classes, lab tours, field trips, and student-led project.
Two similar summer camps will be offered from:
- July 24th to 29th at WSU in Pullman, WA
- August 13th to 18th at the UW in Seattle, WA
Field trips in Seattle may include exploring the Traffic Management Center at WSDOT, taking a boat ride through the Lake Washington ship canal, and touring the floating SR-520 Bridge. In Pullman, students will explore rural transportation systems and services, visit cutting edge research labs, and take field trips to the scenic snake rivers and Palouse area.
